An estimated 85 percent of older adults are at risk for poor nutrition. Our eating habits often change, but good nutrition is especially important in maintaining good health as we age. Minnesota communities offer a spectrum of meal services, from Home Delivered Meals to Senior Dining Centers. LSS Senior Dining & Meals on Wheels
LSS Senior Dining and Meals on Wheels seeks to enable persons aged 60 and older to live healthier, more active and independent lives.
LSS offers Community Dining sites, Diner's Club as well as Home Delivered Meals to the counties of Kittson, Roseau, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Beltrami, Polk, Pennington, Clearwater, Red Lake, Norman, Mahnomen and Hubbard.
Nutrition Services
Nutrition Services has locations that offer a hot, well balanced mid-day meal Monday through Friday.
Congregate Dining Sites, Home Delivered Meals (including rural areas) as well as weekend and holiday meals are available in the counties of Clay, Becker, Otter Tail, Wilkin, Douglas, Pope, Stevens, Grant and Traverse.
