Assistance
is provided to help you apply for options that can save you money, such
as prescription drug manufacturer programs that offer free and/or
discounted prescriptions.
A
Senior LinkAge Line® specialist will assist in completing applications
for each of your prescriptions. Applications will then be sent to
you for your signature and any supporting documentation that will be
needed. A checklist will be included telling you what
supporting documentation to include with each application. Once
completed, you will bring them to your physician to complete the
doctor’s information and to include the appropriate prescription, and
then they are mailed off to the drug companies.
If
you are approved for the free drug programs for your prescriptions, you
will be able to pick them up at your clinic or physician’s office
instead of your pharmacy.
A Senior LinkAge Line® specialist can help you when it is time for you
to reapply for another supply.
