Funding Sources

Title III Older Americans Act funds, State Congregate Nutrition and Home Delivered Meal funds through the Minnesota Board on Aging and local support through the RDC Tax Levy and other county financial support.

The Area Plan serves as the contract with the Minnesota Board on Aging and includes a population and geographic profile, goals and objectives, budget and organizational information.

Direct Services We Provide

The Senior LinkAge Line® is an information, referral and assistance line to assist senior citizens and family members to get connected with regional services. Trained specialists help on a wide variety of issues to maintain the independence of seniors.

The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) assists elderly and disabled Medicare beneficiaries with billing questions, health care options and prescription drug program options.


Rx Connect Program assists people of all ages in accessing the drug company's Patient Assistance Programs to get medications at a free or reduced cost.
